Usually 8-9 people play online poker at a table. Before any cards are dealt, the two players sitting left, next to the dealer have to place into the pot the big blind and small blind, which are the initial bets. Instead of money, poker players use chips, with amounts of money on them for betting.
The amount of the initial bet is determined by the beginning of the game; the big blind has this amount and in every case the small blind is half the amount of the big blind bet. After the blinds are placed in, the dealer gives two faced down cards for every player. You can choose to raise, fold or bet after you have seen your cards, even before the community cards are shown. If noon e raises you can check; this initial phase of the game is known as the pre-flop.
The dealer puts away one card, called as burn, and deals three community cards known as Flop. These cards are community because very player can use them to combine with their initial two cards in order to develop a strong, winning hand of poker. After that another round of betting comes, starting with the small blind, and as previously you can choose to bet, raise or fold according to the others and your hand. After this round of betting another card is burned and a fourth community card, the Turn is dealt.
The final round of betting begins after the River, the fifth and last community card. When the betting finishes, every player make the showdown and the one having the strongest hand, from the two initial and five community cards wins the pot. There are different strengths of the hands and combinations: High Card, One Pair (two 6), Two Pairs (consists of two pairs like eights or sevens), Three-of-a-Kind (three cards of the same kind), Straight (there are five cards on a sequential run), Flush (five cards in the same suit), Full House (consists of a Pair and a Three-of-a-Kind combination), Four-of-a-Kind, Straight Flush (cards of the same suits in a flush ) and the bets one and the rarest Royal Flush.
